Anabel L. Canseco is a business owner, mother of two young children, and a community volunteer.

Anabel has 15 years of experience in community organizing throughout San Diego County. Canseco began community organizing after graduating from Cal State San Marcos with her Bachelor's degree in Liberal Studies. She believes that helping the whole family starts with having safe, affordable housing, and that led Canseco to work for a non-profit in that field. In her 13-year career there, she continued to engage children, teens, and parents to be engaged in their communities. She believes the way to make changes is to be involved through volunteering, advocacy, leadership training, and exploring and growing the gift we each have.

In 2017, she and her husband, Cesar Canseco decided to start a family in Fallbrook. As a native of Fallbrook, she loved the open space that Fallbrook has to offer. While raising her children became a priority, she still wanted to help her community. She became the owner of The Busy Bee of Fallbrook, an indoor playground in downtown Fallbrook, where she is an active community member and part of many community events.

One of her goals is to make sure the Fallbrook Latino/Hispanic community, young families, and neurodivergent families are represented on and served by the Fallbrook Regional Health District.
